I picked up this block after my yoga studio re-opened following mandatory shutdown. I really liked it. I thought it was great quality and was very happy with it after several sessions in a hot studio. Then it fell out of my car. I didn’t notice so I ended up running it over with my SUV. Some very light tire tracks were left but after a good clean, it is near perfect. Amazing.
My only other experience with blocks are the ones at my yoga studio and those must be 15 to 20 years old, but wow, these are wonderful blocks. They feel nice in my hands and have a good weight, which makes me want to actually use them more often. Plus they are made from recycled materials, which is always a plus. Get them. You won't be disappointed.
These are exactly what I needed for my home practice. I will be continuing my yoga study and due to Covid need to bring my own props. I’ve been wanting to purchase these for quite some time and I’m so happy to get rid of my cheap store bought blocks.
Good blocks made with recycled foam. These are exactly what I'd been looking for.
These blocks do not sag or bend and they look brand new even after 10 years of use. The trade off is that they are a bit heavy. But weight is irrelevant unless you are traveling. If you're setting up for home practice, I suggest a pair of these blocks, a rectangular bolster, 2 or 3 blankets, and something lightweight and soft to shield your eyes in rest.
