Worth the Investment
A month into at-home physical therapy, I knew I needed a better yoga mat--something that would cushion and conform to my arthritic, hypermobile joints. The cost of this mat gave me pause (it sat in my cart for two weeks) but I'm glad I made the investment. This mat has made all of the difference. This mat relieves the pressure on my SI joint, elbows, shoulder blades, and heels and so makes it much easier to get through PT focused on the exercises, rather than the pain. The thickness and 'squish' are perfect for my needs. There's also a good amount of grip (tack) to this, meaning that neither the mat nor I slide around on my hardwood floors.
